Custody and Justice

More than 300 cells designed across the UK

These spaces demand safety, security, and operational efficiency. Having designed more than 300 cells across multiple facilities we understand what works operationally and what meets MOJ requirements.

Working closely with justice professionals and operators from day one to understand how spaces will be used, so that we can engineer them to be secure, sustainable, and fit for purpose.

Advising on the MOJ guidelines

We don’t just follow MOJ guidelines, we helped write them. CAD21 were commissioned to develop the new MOJ Design System, which means we understand not just the rules, but the thinking behind them.

Our teams know what works operationally because we’ve designed hundreds of spaces to these standards. We speak the language of both technical compliance and operational reality.

Innovative, sustainable design

Integrated de-carbonised energy systems, optimised HVAC design, and efficient system layouts reduce operational costs and carbon impact while maintaining the security and control standards the sector requires.

Modern facilities that perform better, cost less to run, and meet carbon targets.
